The Los Angeles Festival of Movies (presented by MUBI and Mezzanine) was founded to redefine Los Angeles as a destination for independent film. In our inaugural edition that took place April 4-7, 2024, we showcased a curated selection of high-profile narrative and documentary film premieres; talks with local artists, luminaries, and thought leaders; and a party each night, at three exciting new venues on the east side of Los Angeles. With your support, LAFM will continue be the nexus for this city’s robust community to gather and take advantage of a burgeoning audience for independent cinema.
